Organization Description:

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia was established by the provincial legislature of BC as the licensing and regulatory body for all physicians and surgeons in the province. It is responsible for establishing, monitoring and enforcing standards of qualification and medical practice across the province. The College is governed by an elected body of ten physicians together with five public representatives who are appointed by the Ministry of Health (BC).
