The Saskatchewan Ministry of Finance responsibilities include administering various provincial taxes and grant and refund programs; arranging government financing and managing the banking, investment and public debt functions; providing financial and policy analysis to the Treasury Board and Cabinet; developing tax policy alternatives; providing economic forecasting and economic and social statistical data; and managing the government's various pension and benefit plans.
